You know, as a wedding planner, you get to work with some really wonderful couples but once in a while, you run across a couple that you just want to wrap your arms around and take with you where ever you go. Kristy and Lee are one of the couples. When Kristy and I met for the first time, I knew I had met a lifelong friend. She trusted me with her wedding day, allowing me to suggest vendors and details that I knew would create the wedding of her dreams.
This couple was adamant about this being a somewhat intimate wedding celebration, with a guest list of less than 75 people. They hosted their wedding ceremony and reception at the always fun and different, Houston Museum of Natural Science in Sugar Land. The bride chose a beautiful color palette of navy, burgundy and blush pink, and the color combination brought just the right something classy yet festive feel to the very natural details of the museum. We took advantage of the science themed elements already housed within the museum and enhanced it with some classically modern details to capture the bride’s sense of style. This great evening was then capped off with dinner and dancing and we know a great time was had by all.
Check out a few of the details from this beautiful wedding, photographed by Natalie Lindberg Photography, because as you know, we are all about orchestrating the details.
